For a long-term factory client PES have fully reviewed the compressed air systems, including leak detecting and pressure analysis. This has led to significant savings being identified - in excess of £50,000 per annum, as well as recommendations on condensate & air treatment, VSD compressor sizing, leak repairs, further leak surveying and central BMS control links. These recommendations are being implemented as a second phase for the client. Air systems can often be a significant invisible energy inefficiency, but with the right approach, significant savings are possible.
